The American Political Science Association (APSA) and Cambridge University Press is pleased the editors of the next American Political Science Review, the flagship journal Science, to be known in political science. From July 2012, the new editorial by Professor John Ishiyama and Marijke Breuning fellow professors, Steven Forde, and Valerie Martinez-Ebers, University of North Texas (UNT) led APSR. The APSA Council appointed the new team for a term of four years, renewable for another two years. Professor Ishiyama used the editor for the first two years, after which time an editor role is among the members of the editorial team, with the consent of the team and to turn the APSA Council.
teacher Ishiyama, Breuning, Forde, and Martinez-Ebers take over leadership of the current APSR editor APSR at UCLA and is directed by Professor Ronald Rogowski. The two teams work together to ensure a smooth transition for authors, readers and editors. The new publishers UNT applications from first July 2012 the first issue (February) 2013 reflect volume processed goods under their direction.
PAL led Scientific publishing in political science for over a century and continue to represent both basic scholarship in political science and new directions and developments in the field. The editorial goes to UNT willing to join this tradition, to promote the service journals of the discipline. A short biography of each new editor following See the end of this press release to find.
The new vision
editors for PAL is based on three main principles:
1 To the scientific research that is of exceptional quality publishing, focuses on important topics, and is widely available
2 To this excellent magazine with a priority to promote, increase the diversity of submissions on a broad and systematic education

John Ishiyama, Professor (PhD 1992, Michigan State University), Comparative Politics is a scholar who specializes in political parties has and democratization in post-communist Russia, Eastern Europe and Africa (especially Ethiopia) policy. He has (in particular the role played by ethnic parties) and extensive work on ethnic conflict and politics, and performed on the scholarship of teaching and learning. He has six books, 105 articles in scientific journals and 16 chapters in edited books published. His work has included the use of both quantitative and qualitative methods. He has held senior positions at APSA, MPSA and ISA, works primarily as a member of the Executive Council of the APSA and MPSA 2007-09 Executive Council from 2010 to today.
